Clementine Churchill
Clementine Ogilvy Spencer-Churchill, Baroness Spencer-Churchill GBE (née Hozier; 1 April 1885 – 12 Desember 1977) adalah istri dari Sir Winston Churchill dan anggota majelis seumur hidup (life peer) atas haknya sendiri.
Kehidupan awal
meskipun menurut hukum merupakan putri dari pasangan Henry Montague Hozier dan Lady Blanche Hozier (putri David Ogilvy, 10th Earl of Airlie), paternitasnya menjadi bahan perdebatan, karena Lady Blanche dikenal karena tak setia. Setelah Sir Henry menemukan Lady Blanche dengan seorang kekasih pada 1891, ia memutuskan untuk melayangkan tuntutan ke suaminya untuk perceraian karena ketidaksetiaan suaminya sendiri, dan sehingga pasangan tersebut berpisah. Lady Blanche menyatakan bahwa ayah biologis Clementine adalah Kapten William George "Bay" Middleton, seorang prajurit berkuda terkenal; Mary Soames, anak bungsu Clementine, meyakininya.[1]
