Cokelat batangan
Cokelat batangan (bahasa Inggris: chocolate bar) adalah camilan yang mengandung cokelat, dengan lapisan atau campuran yang mencakup kacang, buah, karamel, nougat, dan wafer. Berbagai macam merek cokelat batangan dijual di pasaran.
Cokelat batangan pertama yang diproduksi dibuat oleh J. S. Fry & Sons of Bristol, Inggris pada tahun 1847. Cadbury Dairy Milk mulai diproduksi satu buah pada tahun 1849. Sebatang cokelat isi, Fry's Chocolate Cream, dirilis pada tahun 1866. Pada tahun 1912, Goo Goo Cluster adalah bilah kombinasi pertama yang diproduksi secara massal; termasuk marshmallow, nougat, karamel, dan kacang panggang.[1] Dalam beberapa jenis bahasa Inggris dan standar pelabelan makanan, istilah "cokelat batangan" digunakan untuk batangan cokelat padat, dan "permen batangan" yang digunakan untuk produk dengan bahan tambahan.
