Condylactis aurantiaca, dikenal umum sebagai anemon emas, adalah spesies anemon laut dari famili Actiniidae.[1] Spesies ini biasanya menyembunyikan sebagian tubuhnya di pasir atau sedimen sehingga hanya cakram oral dan tentakelnya yang terlihat.

Deskripsi

Kolomnya berwarna putih tembus cahaya dengan bintik-bintik putih, dan tumbuh hingga berdiameter sekitar 7 sentimeter. Cakram oral dapat mencapai 12 sentimeter. Diameter keseluruhan dengan tentakel terbentang sekitar 30 sentimeter. Spesies ini biasanya memiliki lima lingkaran tentakel, dengan 96 tentakel ketika berkembang sempurna. Setiap tentakel memiliki panjang sekitar 8 sentimeter, berwarna hijau hingga kuning, dan kadang-kadang keabu-abuan. Tentakel sering kali memiliki pola pita putih dan warna lain, serta ujung berwarna ungu. Mulut, yang terletak di tengah cakram oral, berwarna keunguan.[2]

Sebaran

Condylactis aurantiaca hanya ditemukan di Laut Tengah pada kedalaman hingga 80 meter. Bagian dasarnya menempel pada batu, batuan kecil, atau cangkang, sementara kolomnya terbenam dalam sedimen, biasanya berupa pasir atau kerikil.[3]
