Cyonosaurus adalah genus therapsida Gorgonopsia dari Permian Akhir di Afrika Selatan. Panjang Cyonosaurus mencapai 06 hingga 11 meter (19 ft 8 in hingga 36 ft 1 in), dengan tengkorak sepanjang 9 hingga 18 sentimeter (3+1⁄2 hingga 7 in). Spesies tipenya adalah Cyonosaurus longiceps yang dinamai pada tahun 1937.[1]
