Dasar Pandang ke Timur
Dasar Pandang ke Timur adalah kebijakan ekonomi yang diluncurkan oleh Perdana Menteri Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad, pada 8 Februari 1982. Saat itu, Mahathir baru menjabat sebagai Perdana Menteri Malaysia (1981). Kebijakan ini diumumkan dalam Persidangan "5th Joint Annual Conference of MAJECA/JAMECA" di Hotel Hilton Kuala Lumpur.[1] Dasar Pandang ke Timur berarti pemerintah Malaysia dan sektor swasta menjadikan Jepang dan Korea Selatan sebagai contoh etika kerja. Lebih dari 15.000 rakyat Malaysia telah memperoleh manfaat dari kebijakan ini.
