Dederuk afrika[2] (Streptopelia roseogrisea) adalah sebuah spesies dederuk kecil yang ditemukan di Sahel, beberapa bagian utara Tanduk Afrika dan Arabia barat daya. Meski burung ini hidup di wilayah kering, spesies ini ditemukan di sekitar sumber mata air.

Burung ini umumnya memiliki panjang 26 cm (10 in) dan bobot 130–166 g. Bagian atas badannya, dari pundak ke ekornya, berwarna cokelat kekelabuan pucat, meski tepi sayapnya memiliki sedikti warna kebiruan. Bulu terbangnya lebih gelap, dan hampir hitam. Kepala, leher, dan dadanya kurang lebih berona merah muda yang beralih ke putih pada dagu dan perut. Dederuk afrika tidak menunjukkan ciri dimorfisme seksual.[3]
