Deric Washburn
Deric Washburn (lahir 2 Juni 1937) adalah seorang penulis naskah asal Amerika Serikat.
Washburn lahir di Buffalo, NY dan dibesarkan di Providence, RI. Ia lulus dari Harvard College, A.B. English Literature, pada 1959. Karier awalnya adalah menjadi pengarang drama, menulis drama-drama Ginger Anne dan The Love Nest.
Ia dikenal karena menjadi salah satu penulis skenario asli The Deer Hunter dengan Michael Cimino.
