countes Maria Theodora Paulina "Dora" Pejačević (bahasa Hungaria: Gróf verőczei Pejácsevich Mária Theodóra Paulina "Dóra"; 10 September 1885 – 5 Maret 1923) adalah seorang komponis, pianis, dan violinis asal Kroasia, serta salah satu komponis pertama yang memperkenalkan lagu orkestra ke dalam khazanah musik Kroasia.[1][2] Simfoni dalam nada F-muda miliknya dianggap oleh para pakar sebagai simfoni modern pertama dalam sejarah musik Kroasia.[3] Pejačević dikenal luas atas karya-karya komposisi vokal, miniatur piano, serta kuartet geseknya,[2] yang sangat dipengaruhi oleh aliran ekspresionisme dan tren modernis pada masa itu.[4]

Pejačević bekerja secara terus-menerus dalam menggarap karya Simfoni ini pada tahun 1916 dan 1917... karya ini merupakan karya modern pertama dari jenisnya (genre) dalam sejarah musik Kroasia. Yang paling utama, Pejačević akan tetap dikenang sebagai sosok berjasa yang memperkenalkan musik klasik di Kroasia.[4]
