Edward M. Zwick (kelahiran 8 Oktober 1952) adalah seorang pembuat film Amerika dan profuser film pemenang Academy Award.

Kehidupan awal dan pendidikan

Zwick lahir dalam sebuah keluarga Yahudi[2] di Chicago, Illinois, sebagai putra dari Ruth Ellen (née Reich) dan Allen Zwick.[1] Ia masuk New Trier High School, meraih gelar B.A. dari Harvard pada 1974, dan masuk AFI Conservatory, lulus dengan gelar Master of Fine Arts pada 1975.

Karier

Film-filmnya meliputi Glory (1989), Legends of the Fall (1994), The Siege (1998), The Last Samurai (2003), Blood Diamond (2006), dan Defiance (2008). Bersama dengan Marshall Herskovitz, Zwick menjalankan sebuah perusahaan produksi film yang disebut The Bedford Falls Company (terinspirasi oleh nama kota yang tampil dalam It's A Wonderful Life karya Frank Capra).
