Ekosistem digital

Ekosistem digital adalah sistem sosio-teknis yang terdistribusi, adaptif, dan terbuka dengan sifat-sifat pengorganisasian diri, skalabilitas, dan keberlanjutan yang terinspirasi dari ekosistem alami. Model ekosistem digital diinformasikan oleh pengetahuan tentang ekosistem alami, terutama untuk aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan persaingan dan kolaborasi antar entitas yang beragam.[1][2][3][4] Istilah ini digunakan dalam industri komputer,[5] industri hiburan,[6] dan Forum Ekonomi Dunia.[7]

Sejarah

Konsep Ekosistem Bisnis Digital diajukan pada tahun 2002 oleh sekelompok peneliti dan praktisi Eropa, termasuk Francesco Nachira, Paolo Dini dan Andrea Nicolai, yang menerapkan gagasan umum ekosistem digital untuk memodelkan proses adopsi dan pengembangan produk dan layanan berbasis TIK di pasar yang kompetitif dan sangat terfragmentasi seperti pasar Eropa [8][9] . Elizabeth Chang, Ernesto Damiani dan Tharam Dillon memulai pada tahun 2007 Konferensi Ekosistem dan Teknologi Digital IEEE (IEEE DEST). Richard Chbeir, Youakim Badr, Dominique Laurent, dan Hiroshi Ishikawa memulai pada tahun 2009 Konferensi ACM tentang Manajemen Ekosistem Digital (MEDES) .
