Eparki

Eparki adalah kata Yunani yang dianglikanisasi (ἐπαρχία), yang secara otentik di-Latinisasi menjadi eparchia, yang dapat diterjemahkan sebagai pemerintahan atau yurisdiksi atas sesuatu, seperti provinsi, prefektur, atau teritorial. Kata tersebut memiliki pengartian spesifik dalam hal politik sejarah dan hierarki Gereja Timur.

Dalam pemakaian sekuler, kata eparki artinya adalah distrik administratif Kekaisaran Romawi/Kekaisaran Bizantium, atau sekarang di Yunani atau Siprus.
