Kawah Eratosthenes

Eratostenium merupakan suatu periode pada skala waktu geologi bulan. Periode ini dinamai bedasarkan Kawah Eratosthenes,[1] yang terbentuk pada periode ini. Periode ini dimulai pada 3.2 miliar tahun lalu, hingga 1.1 miliar tahun lalu. Pada periode ini, Vulkanisme basaltik di Bulan perlahan berhenti.

Pada skala waktu geologi Bumi, Eratostenium setara dengan periode Mesoarkean hingga Mesoproterozoikum.
