Ethel Marie Burton Palmer[1] (23 Oktober 1897 - Mei 1985)[2] adalah seorang pemeran film komedi Amerika Serikat.[3]
Biografi
Burton lahir di New York City dan ulai berkarya dalam perfilamn pada 1915.[3] Ia berkarya untuk Vitagraph, World Comedy Stars Film Company dan Vim Comedy Company.[3] Ia sering tampil sebagai pemeran pendukung dalam film-film dengan Billy West dan Oliver Hardy. Ia beradu peran dalam empat komedi Billy West pertama, diaman ia bertemu sutradara Arvid E. Gillstrom. Mereka menjadi pasutri dan menikah pada 1917.[4] Burton dan Gillstrom bercerai pada 1931 dan Burton meneruskan akting dengan nama Ethel Gillstrom.[5][6]
