Felinologi adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang kucing.[1] Istilah Felinologi memiliki asal kata dari bahasa Latin dan Yunani, yaitu kata Latin, "felinus" (berarti kucing) dan Yunani, "logos" (berarti ilmu). Felinologi mempelajari tentang anatomi, genetika, fisiologi, dan pengembangbiakan dari kucing domestik dan liar.
