Francisco de Montejo
Francisco de Montejo y Álvarez (bahasa Spanyol: [fɾanˈθisko ðe mõnˈtexo]; s. 1479 di Salamanca – s. 1553 di Spanyol) adalah seorang conquistador Spanyol di Meksiko dan Amerika Tengah.
Kehidupan pribadi
Francisco de Montejo lahir pada 1479 di Salamanca, Spanyol, dari pasangan Juan de Montejo dan Catalina Álvarez de Tejeda. Ia meninggalkan Spanyol pada 1514, dan datang ke Kuba untuk bergabung dengan ekspedisi Juan de Grijalva di sepanjang pantai Yucatán dan Teluk Meksiko.[1]: 27
