Friedrich Delitzsch
Friedrich Delitzsch (3 September 1850 – 19 Desember 1922) adalah seorang Asiriologis asal Jerman. Dia adalah putra seorang teolog Lutheran bernama Franz Delitzsch (1813–1890).
Lahir di Erlangen, ia kuliah di Leipzig dan Berlin, tahun 1874 ia mendapatkan habilitasi menjadi dosen bahasa Semit dan Asiriologi di Leipzig. Pada tahun 1885 ia menjadi profesor penuh di Leipzig, kemudian ia bekerja sebagai profesor di Universitas Breslau (1893) dan Berlin (1899).
Dia merupakan salah satu pendiri Deutsche Orient-Gesellschaft (Masyarakat Oriental Jerman) dan menjabat sebagai direktur Vorderasiatischen Abteilung (Departemen Timur Dekat) dari Museum Kerajaan.
