Gaia Online adalah sebuah situs web berbasis forum dan jejaring sosial bertema anime dan berbahasa Inggris. Situs tersebut didirikan dengan nama go-gaia pada 18 Februari 2003,[1][2] dan namanya diubah menjadi GaiaOnline.com pada 2004 oleh pemiliknya, Gaia Interactive. Gaia awalnya dimulai sebagai daftar pranala anime dan kemudian berkemabng menjadi komunitas kecil,[2] namun menyusul pernyataan dari pendirinya Derek Liu, situs tersebut diubah menjadi situs permainan sosial, dan[5] kemudian menjadi situs berbasis forum.[6][7]
