Gas asfiksia
Gas asfiksia adalah gas yang tidak atau kurang beracun yang mengurangi atau menggantikan konsentrasi oksigen normal dalam udara pernapasan. Udara pernapasan yang kekurangan oksigen dapat menyebabkan kematian karena asfiksia (sesak napas). Kehadiran gas asfiksia dalam konsentrasi tinggi mungkin tidak kentara, karena mereka relatif inert dan tidak berbau, kecuali pada kasus karbon dioksida (hiperkapnia).
