Gene Cantamessa (17 Februari 1931 – 8 November 2011)[1] adalah seorang teknisi suara asal Amerika Serikat. Ia memenangkan Oscar untuk Tata Suara Terbaik atas karyanya pada film Steven Spielberg tahun 1982, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.[2] Cantamessa meraih enam nominasi Oscar lainnya dalam kategori yang sama pada masa kariernya.
