Generasi yang Hilang

Generasi hilang, generasi tersesat, atau generasi tercecer (bahasa Inggris: lost generation) adalah kelompok generasi sosial yang mencapai masa dewasa awal pada Perang Dunia 1.[1] Istilah tersebut juga biasanya dipakai untuk menyebut sekelompok penulis ekspatriat Amerika Serikat yang tinggal di Paris pada 1920an. Mereka lahir di tahun 1883 hingga 1900.[2][3][4] Gertrude Stein mencetuskan istilah tersebut, dan kemudian dipopulerisasikan oleh Ernest Hemingway yang memakai istilah tersebut dalam epigraf untuk novel tahun 1926 buatannya The Sun Also Rises: "Kamu semua adalah generasi hilang".[5][6]
