Gerakan iklim

Gerakan iklim adalah sebuah gerakan sosial global yang berfokus pada mendesak industri dan pemerintah untuk mengambil tindakan (juga dikenal sebagai "aksi iklim") dalam mengatasi penyebab-penyebab dan dampak perubahan iklim. Organisasi-organisasi nirlaba lingkungan telah terlibat pada aktivisme iklim signifikan sejak dekade 1980-an akhir dan 1990-an awal, menjalankannya demi memengaruhi Konvensi Kerangka Kerja Perubahan Iklim Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa.[1] Aktivisme iklim telah semakin marak seiring waktu berjalan, mendapat momentum signifikan pada Konferensi Perubahan Iklim Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa 2009 dan lebih lagi setelah ditandatanganinya Persetujuan Paris pada 2016.[2]
