Glikokaliks, atau yang juga dikenal sebagai matriks periseluler, adalah sebuah tutupan glikoprotein dan glikolipid yang menyelubungi membran sel bakteri, sel epitel serta beberapa sel lainnya. Glikokaliks pertamakali dideskripsikan pada sebuah artikel tinjauan pada 1970.[1]
