Hamid Gul

Letnan Jenderal Hamid Gul HI(M) SI(M) SBt (bahasa Urdu: حمید گل; 20 November 1936 – 15 Agustus 2015) adalah seorang jenderal angkatan darat bintang tiga di Angkatan Darat Pakistan dan analis pertahanan. Gul terkenal karena menjabat sebagai Direktur Jenderal Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), badan intelijen utama Pakistan, antara 1987 dan 1989. Selama masa jabatannya, Gul memainkan peran penting dalam mengarahkan dukungan ISI kepada kelompok perlawanan Afganistan melawan pasukan Soviet. dengan imbalan dana dan senjata dari AS, selama Perang Soviet-Afganistan, bekerja sama dengan CIA.[1]
