Harold Livingston (4 September 1924 – 28 April 2022) adalah seorang pengarang novel dan penulis skenario berkebangsaan Amerika Serikat yang dikenal sebagai penulis naskah Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979).[1] Selain dia, Alan Dean Foster dan Gene Roddenberry juga ikut serta dalam proses pembuatan alur cerita dan naskah film tersebut.

Sebelum berprofesi sebagai pengarang novel dan penulis skenario, Livingston adalah seorang operator radio untuk keperluan navigasi pesawat terbang dan ini dikisahkan dalam bukunya berjudul No Trophy, No Sword. Ia adalah pendiri Angkatan Udara Israel, dan merupakan tokoh yang berjasa dalam memastikan agar Israel menang dalam Perang Arab-Israel 1948.[2]

Livingston tutup usia di Westlake Village, California pada tanggal 28 April 2022 pada umurnya yang ke-97.[3]
