Helicia sessilifolia adalah pohon dalam famili Proteaceae, yang berasal dari Kalimantan. Epitet spesifik sessilifolia merujuk pada daunnya yang sesil (atau tidak bertangkai).[2]

Deskripsi

Helicia sessilifolia tumbuh hingga setinggi 10 meter (33 ft). Ranting-rantingnya berwarna cokelat. Daunnya yang kaku seperti kulit berbentuk elips hingga lonjong dan berukuran hingga 17 cm (7 in) panjangnya. Perbungaannya soliter. Buahnya mengering menjadi warna cokelat.[2]

Distribusi dan habitat

Helicia sessilifolia adalah endemik Kalimantan. Habitatnya adalah hutan dipterokarpa, pada ketinggian hingga 900 m (3.000 ft).[2]
