Herstory adalah sebuah istilah untuk sejarah yang ditulis dari sudut pandang feminis, yang menyoroti peran wanita, atau berkata dari sudut pandang wanita. Istilah tersebut adalah sebuah neologisme yang dicetuskan sebagai sebuah permainan kata dari kata "history" (sejarah), sebagai bagian dari kritik feminis terhadap historiografi konvensional, yang mereka anggap biasanya ditulis sebagai "his story" (cerita laki-laki), dari sudut pandang maskulin.[1] Gerakan tersebut berujung pada peningkatan kegiatan dalam disiplin-disiplin sentris-perempuan lain seperti femistry dan galgebra.[2]
