Hetepheres (atau Hetepheres A) adalah seorang putri Mesir yang hidup pada Dinasti ke-IV.
Biografi
Hetepheres A adalah putri Firaun Sneferu dan Ratu Hetepheres.[1] Putri Hetepheres menikah dengan adik tirinya Ankhhaf, yang merupakan seorang wazir.[2] Hetepheres digambarkan dalam makam Ankhhaf di Giza (G 7010). Hetepheres memegang gelar "putri raja tertua dari tubuhnya", "orang yang dia cintai" dan "Imam Sneferu". Dia akan menjadi tokoh penting sebagai istri seorang wazir dan sebagai saudara perempuan Firaun Khufu.[3]
Ankhhaf dan Hetepheres memiliki seorang putri, yang merupakan ibunda Ankhetef.[3] Cucu laki-laki ini digambarkan di makam Ankhhaf dan Hetepheres.[4]
Makam
Suami Hetepheres Ankhhaf memiliki mastaba besar bernomor G 7510 di Kompleks Pemakaman Giza. Dekorasi termasuk penggambaran seorang cucu laki-laki, menyiratkan bahwa makam itu dibangun dan didekorasi di kemudian hari dalam kehidupan Ankhhaf.[4] Tidak ada lubang pemakaman untuk Hetepheres di makam ini, dan dia mungkin telah meninggal sebelum selesainya makam dan mungkin telah dikuburkan di tempat lain.[2][4]
