Hidung daun adalah hidung berbentuk tombak yang umumnya berukuran besar, yang dapat ditemukan pada kelelawar di famili Phyllostomidae, Hipposideridae dan Rhinolophidae. Karena kelelawar ini melakukan ekolokasi melalui hidungnya, hidung daun dianggap memainkan peran dalam emmodifikasi dan mengarahkan panggilan ekolokasi.[1][2]

Bentuk dari hidung daun dapat jadi penting untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan kelelawar.[3] Terlebih lagi, bentuk dari hidung daun dapat mengidentifikasi perilaku kelelawar itu sendiri; contohnya, pada famili-famili yang memiliki hidung daun, eksperimen-eksperimen telah menunjukkan bahwa hidung tersebut berperan sebagai alat peregulasi suara dan memfokuskan pancaran suara mereka saat ekolokasi.[4]
