Hipparion (dari kata Bahasa Yunani, yang berarti "kuda poni") adalah genus dari kuda yang sudah punah. Mereka dapat ditemukan di seluruh belahan dunia, kecuali Antarktika dan Amerika Selatan, dan hidup pada kala Miosen hingga Pleistosen ( ~23 juta tahun lalu hingga 780,000 tahun lalu).[1] Mereka hidup selama 22 juta tahun.
Kaki Hipparion memiliki tiga jari kaki vestigial.
