Mustelus, juga dikenal sebagai hiu musang, adalah genus hiu dalam keluarga Triakidae. Nama genusnya berasal dari kata Latin mustela yang berarti cerpelai. [2] Jangan bingung dengan nama genus Mustela, yang digunakan untuk cerpelai.

Seekor hiu musang dapat tumbuh hingga 159 cm (5 kaki 3 inci) panjang dan berat lebih dari 13 kilogram (29 pon). [3]
