I See Fire

"I See Fire" adalah sebuah lagu karangan penyanyi sekaligus penulis lagu, Ed Sheeran. Lagu ini terpilih mengisi soundtrack film The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) dan ditampilkan sebagai lagu penutup. Sutradara Peter Jackson lantas meminta Sheeran untuk menulis lagu untuk film tersebut setelah putrinya, Katie, merekomendasikan Sheeran. Tak lama Sheeran pun menonton film tersebut, lalu menulis lagu serta merekam sebagian besar lirik lagu pada hari yang sama.^[1]^[2]

Lagu ini dapat diunduh pada 5 November 2013. Video musiknya rilis pada hari yang sama. Menempati posisi 13 di UK Singles Chart dan mencapai nomor satu di Selandia Baru hingga enam minggu lamanya.
