Ibrahim Patel


Ibrahim Patel adalah Menteri Pengembangan Ekonomi Afrika Selatan dan mantan juru bicara COSATU (organisasi payung serikat buruh Afrika Selatan). Ia penting karena booming perekonomian Afrika Selatan secara paradoks melesat jauh meninggalkan sebagian besar penduduknya; ini karena keadaan HIV/AIDS dan juga fakta bahwa Afrika Selatan memiliki laju pengangguran tertinggi di dunia akibat migrasi massal yang disebabkan oleh situasi tidak stabil di Zimbabwe.[1]
