Ikan nike

Ikan nike adalah nama yang digunakan untuk merujuk beberapa spesies ikan goby seperti awaous melanocephalus, sicyopterus parvei, sicyopterus cynocephalus, sicyopterus longifilis, sicyopterus lagocephalus, dan stiphodon semoni,[1] yang juga ditemukan di perairan air tawar di India, Sri Lanka, Kepulauan Ryukyu, Tiongkok, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Filipina, Indonesia, Papua Nugini, dan Kepulauan Solomon. Ukurannya kecil, dan tubuh ikan dewasa berwarna belang-belang. Ikan ini banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat di Sulawesi Utara fan Gorontalo. Nike juga sering disebut dengan ikan duwo oleh orang Gorontalo.

Kandungan dan Gizi

Dalam keadaan segar, sebagian besar kandungan ikan nike yakni air sekitar 70 persen dan protein 16 persen.[2] Selain itu, ikan nike juga mengandung kalsium, fosfor, yang bagus untuk pertumbuhan. Ada zinc juga kemudian zat besi.
