Ikan opah (Lampridae) adalah Ikan dalam ordo lampriformes yang hidup di zona pelagik. Ikan ini hanya terdiri dari dua genus yakni Lampris (dari bahasa Yunani Kuno λαμπρός ("lamprós") yang berarti "jernih") dan genus monotipik Megalampris (punah).[2] Ikan ini berkerabat dekat dengan famili ikan yang telah punah yakni Turkmenidae.
