Ikurō Teshima


Abraham Ikurō Teshima (手島アブラハム郁郎, Teshima Abraham Ikurō) (1910 – 24 Desember 1973) adalah pendiri gerakan keagamaan Makuya. Berasal dari Kumamoto, Jepang, ia dibaptis sebagai Protestan dalam usia lima belas tahun, dan setelah itu bergabung dengan Gerakan Non-Gereja yang dimulai oleh Uchimura Kanzō. Teshima dipengaruhi oleh tulisan-tulisan Uchimura, belajar di bawah muridnya Tsukamoto Toraji dan kemudian bergabung dengan Gerakan Non-Gereja. Tokoh agama lain yang memberi dampak besar terhadap keyakinan dan relijiusitas Teshima meliputi Toyohiko Kagawa, Sadhu Sundar Singh, dan Martin Buber.
