Indeks Harga Ritel

Di Britania Raya, Indeks Harga Ritel atau Retail Prices Index (RPI)[1] adalah ukuran inflasi yang diterbitkan bulanan oleh Kantor Statistik Nasional. Indeks ini mengukur perubahan biaya dari contoh representatif barang dan jasa ritel.

Sejak tahun 2013, karena RPI dianggap tidak memenuhi standar statistik internasional, Kantor Statistik Nasional tidak lagi mengklasifikasikannya sebagai "statistik nasional" dan lebih menekankan pada Indeks Harga Konsumen. Namun, hingga tahun 2018, Departemen Keuangan Britania Raya masih menggunakan RPI sebagai ukuran inflasi untuk beberapa kenaikan pajak yang terkait dengan indeks.[2]
