Indian Institute of Remote Sensing

Indian Institute of Remote Sensing adalah lembaga utama untuk penelitian, pendidikan tinggi dan pelatihan di bidang Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics dan Teknologi GPS untuk Sumber Daya Alam, Lingkungan Hidup dan Penanggulangan Bencana di bawah Departemen Space Indian, yang didirikan pada tahun 1966.

Fokus dari IIRS adalah pelatihan dan pendidikan di bidang geoinformatics. Teknologi dan aplikasi Remote Sensing, GIS dan GPS diajarkan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendidikan.
