Indianapolis 500 2013

Indianapolis 500 2013 diperlombakan tanggal 26 Mei 2013 di Sirkuit Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Balapan Indy 500 edisi ke-97 ini dimenangi oleh pembalap Brasil Tony Kanaan.[1]

Untuk pertama kalinya sejak 1987 ada dua pembalap yang memiliki peluang memenangi Indy 500 untuk keempat kalinya yaitu Hélio Castroneves (2001, 2002, 2009) dan Dario Franchitti (2007, 2010, 2012). Mereka berdua mencoba untuk menyamai rekor A. J. Foyt, Al Unser Sr., dan Rick Mears.[2]

Chevrolet sapu bersih empat posisi teratas lomba. Chevrolet juga memenangi balapan Indy 500 yang pertama sejak tahun 2002 sekaligus menghentikan dominasi Honda yang telah memenangi Indy 500 dari tahun 2004 sampai 2012.
