Ingo Potrykus (lahir 5 Desember 1933) adalah salah seorang dari dua perintis perakitan 'Golden Rice', kultivar padi pertama hasil rekayasa genetik. Perakitan itu dilakukan dalam kerja sama dengan tim yang dipimpin Peter Beyer dari Universitas Freiburg, Jerman, saat ia menjadi peneliti dan guru besar di bidang botani dan bioteknologi pada Institut Ilmu-ilmu Tanaman di ETH Zurich, Swiss.[1]
