Inokulasi

Inokulasi merupakan kegiatan pemindahan mikroorganisme baik berupa bakteri maupun jamur dari tempat atau sumber asalnya ke medium baru yang telah dibuat dengan tingkat ketelitian yang sangat tinggi dan aseptis.[1] Dengan demikian akan didapatkan biakan mikroorganisme murni yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran maupun untuk kepentingan lainnya seperti kepentingan industri, pertanian, dan kesehatan.[2] Inokulasi yang baik ditentukan oleh tingkat sterilitas ruangan, alat, dan tenaga pelaksana baik kebersihan maupun teknik inokulasinya.[3]
