Invasi rumah

Invasi rumah adalah jenis penyusupan (dalam beberapa yurisdiksi dianggap sebagai kejahatan yang berbeda) di mana seorang pelaku memasuki rumah tanpa izin ketika penghuni rumah sedang berada di dalam.[1] Tujuan invasi rumah bisa berupa pencurian, perampokan, pembunuhan, serangan seksual, penculikan atau bentuk kejahatan lainnya baik secara sembunyi-sembunyi maupun secara langsung.[2][3][4] Invasi rumah dianggap sebagai kejahatan yang sangat berbahaya oleh badan penegak hukum karena berpotensi menyebabkan konfrontasi kekerasan antara penghuni rumah dengan si pelaku.[5]
