John Michael Bailey (lahir 2 Juli 1957) adalah seorang profesor dan psikolog Amerika Serikat di Universitas Northwestern. Ia terkenal di kalangan ilmuwan karena kerjanya dalam etiologi orientasi seksual, yang dari situ ia simpulkan bahwa homoseksualitas pada dasarnya diwariskan.[1][2][3] Ia juga menulis The Man Who Would Be Queen, yang telah memunculkan berbagai reaksi mulai dari kritik keras hingga nominasi penghargaan, kemudian ditarik kembali, dari Lambda Literary Foundation, sebuah organisasi yang mempromosikan sastra gay.
