JY-8 Radar
JY-8 adalah sebuah sistem radar 3D pengawasan udara bergerak, akuisisi target dan pengendalian intersepsi yang beroperasi di C-band. Dapat digunakan sebagai sensor radar utama untuk sistem pertahanan taktis otomatis, atau dapat digunakan sebagai radar independen. Sistem ini menggunakan teknik sinyal / data yang prosesor canggih dan negara sepenuhnya solid dengan pengecualian dari magnetron dan thyratrons dari pemancar. Perancang umum JY-9 adalah kepala 38th Research Institute, akademisi dari Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wu Manqing (吴曼青, Agustus 1965), yang juga desainer umum JY-9 dan desainer umum radar sistem untuk KJ-2000 dan KJ-200.
