Hoplolatilus marcosi, atau jabad merdeka, adalah spesies ikan bersirip pari laut, ikan jabad milik keluarga Malacanthidae . Ini berasal dari Samudra Pasifik tengah barat.

Keterangan

Hoplolatilus marcosi memiliki tubuh fusiform yang memanjang dengan sirip ekor yang sedikit bercabang. Ciri khas dalam genus ini adalah memiliki garis merah horizontal di kedua sisi gurat sisi, meskipun terlihat hitam dari kejauhan.[1] Sirip punggung berisi 9 duri dan 16 jari lunak sedangkan sirip dubur memiliki 1-2 duri dan 14-15 jari lunak. Spesies ini mencapai panjang total maksimum 12 cm (4,7 in) meskipun 104 cm (41 in) .[2]
