Jam astronomis

Jam astronomi, Horologium, atau Orloj adalah jam dengan mekanisme khusus dan cakra angka untuk menampilkan informasi astronomi, seperti posisi relatif dari matahari, bulan, konstelasi zodiak, dan terkadang planet-planet utama.

Sebuah penelitian dari sekelompok ahli pada tahun 2011 dan 2012 berpendapat bahwa jam astronomi Eropa berasal dari teknologi mekanisme Antikythera.[1]
