James Rufus Agee (/ˈeɪdʒiː/ 27 November 1909 – 16 Mei 1955) adalah seorang novelis, jurnalis, penyair, penulis naskah dan kritikus film Amerika. Pada 1940-an, ia menjadi salah satu kritikus film paling berpengaruh di AS. Novel autobiografi-nya, A Death in the Family (1957), membuat pengarangnya memenangkan Penghargaan Pulitzer 1958 secara anumerta.
