Janata Dal adalah sebuah partai politik India. Partai tersebut dibentuk melalui penggabungan faksi-faksi Partai Janata, Lok Dal, Kongres Nasional India (Jagjivan), dan Jan Morcha pada 11 Oktober 1988 pada peringatan hari kelahiran Jayaprakash Narayan di bawah kepemimpinan V. P. Singh.[1][2]
