Jay Nixon

Jeremiah Wilson "Jay" Nixon (lahir 13 Februari 1956) adalah seorang politikus dan pengacara Amerika Serikat yang menjabat sebagai Gubernur Missouri ke-55 dari 2009 sampai 2017. Sebagai anggota Partai Demokrat, ia mula-mula menjabat sebagai gubernur pada 2008 dan terpilih kembali pada 2012. Sebelum menjabat sebagai Gubernur Missouri, ia menjabat sebagai Jaksa Agung Missouri ke-40 dari 1993 sampai 2009. Setelah meninggalkan jabatan publik, ia bergabung dengan firma hukum Dowd Bennett di St. Louis.[1]
