Jean Pierre Carl Buron (12 Juli 1886 – 2 Juni 1956), yang lebih dikenal sebagai Jean Hersholt, adalah seorang pemeran Denmark-Amerika. Ia dikenal karena membintangi seri radio Dr. Christian (1937–1954) dan film Heidi (1937).[2] Saat ditanya bagaimana mengucapkan namanya, ia menjawab kepada The Literary Digest, "Dalam bahasa Inggris, her'sholt; dalam bahasa Denmark, hairs'hult."[3] Ia tampil dalam 75 film bisu dan 65 film bersuara. Ia juga menyutradarai empat film.
