Jeep Grand Cherokee adalah SUV mid-size yang diproduksi oleh Jeep, salah satu divisi Chrysler. Jeep Grand Cherokee memiliki perbedaan dengan jenis SUV lainnya, yaitu menggunakan sasis unibodi, bukan konstruksi body-on-frame.[2]
Awal dari Grand Cherokee berasal dari tahun 1983 ketika American Motors Corporation (AMC) mendesain penerus dari Jeep Cherokee (XJ) yang berukuran lebih kecil.[3]
